I feel like this whole winter has been "Spring Lite." We've had a few spells of cold like the current one what will end in two or three days. The trees already have some buds on them but the last couple days may a done some damage to those. Already getting reports of the earliest of warblers a few weeks early. Some of the water opened up so we had some geese moving back in. The eagles are already getting cosy in some of their nests.

I am starting to prepare more intensely for the upcoming field season. Sounds like it will be busier than last year which is going to be a blessing and a curse. I may end up with a couple more projects than I had anticipated but I'll make it work somehow.

I am ready for Spring, this winter has just been a tease. Only thing that actually has been nice is getting some crips nights for northern lights but I wager I will get them come summer, too
